Peter's answer is correct, but I believe that the use of "συνέχεται" here is wrong (a typical case of a doctor using a fancy word they're not familiar with). "Συνέχομαι" means "to be continuous/contiguous with something else" but I think that what they mean to say is that the lesion "continues on the stalk" (=συνεχίζεται).

Βάσει του λεξικού Τεγόπουλου-Φυτράκη το ρήμα "συνέχομαι" σημαίνει αποτελώ συνέχεια άλλου. Επομένως, θα πρότεινα σα μετάφραση το ''expands''.

According to my Greek to English dictionaries Google translate, the verb συνέχομαι is given to mean “to be continuous”
So, “φαίνεται να συνέχεται” would appear to mean “appears to be continuous”
