Hi All,
This is from a report into a crane malfunction, specifically testing the emergency stop button in the operator's cabin. Any help with "se suaviza" in this context; is it as in "smooth, dampen"? Thanks in advance.
"Se procede al desmontaje del interruptor y de la bobina de disparo a su limpieza y engrase, se suaviza y se recorre, se cambia el contacto de la seta de emergencia, se vuelve a realizar las pruebas de desgaste extremo accionándola 11 veces seguidas no dando fallo."
