Spanish term

de aspecto sanguíneo

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) skin biopsy
This is from a skin biopsy ... the finding was Kaposi's sarcoma.

"Punch cutáneo donde se observa a nivel dermico espacios vasculares dilatados, de tipo linfático, junto con otros más pequeños *de aspecto sanguíneo."

In this context, I don't understand what an aspecto sanguíneo would be. The only thing I can think of is "having a bloody appearance" which does not sound right. It seems that they're contrasting it with the "tipo linfático" description, but I can't think of how to express this.

Please help me with this one!

Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your input. I used "showing blood cells" in my translation, based on what everyone suggested and the way I understood the meaning.
