Exactly, Ted What sprang to mind first was "(company) shares, bonds or other securities", i.e. "Titel" in the sense of "Wertpapiere".

@Asker - we definitely need more context.

More context needed What kind of business is this? Who is "wir"? My first thought is "a company's shares" as Titel also means equity securities/shares.

Now that I have read the piece, my suggestion is above. Titel is definitely "security/securities" and can be stock, bonds, or other security issued by a company.

agree Sebastian Witte : Well, OK, I got it wrong, they do mention securities other than shares, viz. a Romanian investment fund, so yes, even if they manage it, they can buy it? From what I can tell, the MSCI Frontier Markets Index mentioned, however, contains only shares again.

Stocks is not possible for the UK, but shares is possible for the U.S.

I think English uses the actual, technical plural (like buying 995 shares) where the German at hand uses the singular.

Corporate is not 100% redundant since it's not to be understood in a literal way. It means traditional for-profit companies from sectors such as IT, manufacturing, etc., and start-ups, but not stuff like this from handelsblatt.com https://bit.ly/2wG7M8P

I think this provides the right emphasis. Otherwise, you'd have a less meaningful sentence, IMO.
