Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate: oxig (?)

English Other Medical (general)
Blood test results giving the ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) - acc. to Westergren method. Handwritten text says:

1 hour = 3 oxig. (could be oxil. or oxid.)

Any ideas what it could be? I thought ESR was measured in mm/h so I am not sure what could be written after the value 3.
The first three letters definitely look like o-x-i and I cannot make out the fourth one.

@ Asker I found a few references to '3-oxid' in vague connection with ESR, I'm wondering it it is anything to do with a reagent used? Also of course 'oxidative' and 'oxidation', though it think the connection there is even more tenuous.

The Westergren method employs a 200 mm, 2.5 mm diameter tube vertically aligned column. The column is filled with blood anticoagulated with K3EDTA.

Oxidation trial
Blood samples were collected in 10 ml Vacutainer tubes, containing sodium fluoride/K3EDTA as an anticoagulant (Beckton Dickinson, Plymouth, UK), at 15 minute intervals from the 60 minute time point into the oxidation trial

Oxidation rate, oxidation efficiency

Sed rate, or erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), is a blood test that can reveal inflammatory activity in your body. A sed rate test isn't a stand-alone diagnostic tool, but it can help your doctor diagnose or monitor the progress of an inflammatory disease.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/sed-rate/about/p...

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is the measure of ability of erythrocytes (red blood cell) to fall through the blood plasma and accumulate together at the base of container in one hour.[3]

There are 3 stages in erythrocyte sedimentation:[4]

1) Stage 1 : Rouleaux formation

2) Stage 2 : Sedimentation or settling stage

3) Stage 3 : Packing stage - 10 minutes (sedimentation slows and cells start to pack at the bottom of the tube)

In normal conditions, the red blood cells are negatively charged. Therefore, negatively charged red blood cells repel each other and do not stack over each other. Besides, if the viscosity of blood is high, red blood cells would be slow to fall to the base, thus lowering the ESR.[3]

Oxidative stress and inflammatory markers are associated

Laboratory assessments included: nitric oxide metabolites (NOx), lipid hydroperoxides, malondialdehyde (MDA), total reactive antioxidant potential (TRAP), advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP), fibrinogen concentrations, homocysteine, erythrocytes sedimentation rate (ESR)
