"SEC Rule 17g-5(a)(3) was established to require the disclosure of information used to rate a 17g-5 SFI... potentially facilitating the ability to issue unsolicited ratings on such instruments."

In compliance with that rule, financial institutions maintain websites containing the requisite information (see the introduction and section C(iv) of this link:
https://www.moodys.com/uploadpage/.../MIS_Policy_on_SEC_Rule... Here's another reference to the rule directly from the SEC website: https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2018-214

Iris's text provides that the counterparty (other party to this contract or agreement) is not allowed to post the document in question to any such website.

exigence 17g-5(a)(3)

Bonjour,

Wkipedia : "A nationally recognized statistical rating organization (NRSRO) is a credit rating agency (CRA) that issues credit ratings that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) permits other financial firms to use for certain regulatory purposes."

Peer comment(s):

disagree Daryo : OK, but that's not complete - where is the "website" part?

disagree Eliza Hall : Rule 17g-5(a)(3) requires covered parties to create websites on which certain disclosures can be made. A "rule XYZ website" is one created to comply with rule XYZ.

site internet approprié pour la règle 17g-5(a)(3)

Peer comment(s):

disagree Daryo : You misinterpreted your own reference.

disagree Eliza Hall : Your ref says the recipient can publish the docs on the appropriate website. It doesn't say what such a site is (one created in order to comply with rule 17g-5(a)(3)).
