‘O’-Ring seal designs rely on contact between the end of the rotary coil and the pump shaft to drive the rotary, and as such are dependent on the rotational direction of the shaft for correct operation. Rotate the seal in the appropriate coil direction while sliding it up the shaft. Rotary may be mounted backwards if the shaft is step-balanced. Tolerance on working height is generally -1/+2mm.
