Spanish term

P. de la C.

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
In a document on Puerto Rican law, they make reference to the "P. de la C." I find hundreds of references, but none of them explain what the abbreviation stands for.

H.R.

Declined
It stands for "Proyecto de la Cámara [de Representantes del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico]"

It is also the format used by the US Government for House of Representative Bills (i.e. H.R 1922).
Example sentence:

H.R. 1922

agree David Hollywood : but with "bill"

Thank you David!
disagree AllegroTrans : The format used by the USA is not likely to be universally understood and a "country neutral" term is needed here// it doesn't but the text is not from the USA and an abbreviation is highly unlikely to be understood...consider

Where, precisely, does it ask for "country neutral?" In any case it is used wherever there is a "House of Representatives." Like in Puerto Rico.//Puerto Rico *IS* the USA. Our gov. & constitution are copies of the Federal Design, the names are the same.

neutral David Hollywood : all ok except "project" ... "proyecto" = "bill"

disagree AllegroTrans : "Project" is not the term used in the majority of EN-speaking countries

disagree Seth Phillips : Proyecto in government context refers to a bill (whether senate, house or congress all together). Cámara is in contrast to Senado, meaning the House.
