What is not clear is what kind of "statistical distribution" it's about. What exactly is compared, in which way?
Also, this sounds like comparing own market shares with the market shares of the competition - calling competitors "colleagues" sounds a bit odd ...
All this matters - "in the top quartile / in the top 25%" is pretty straightforward to translate, what is as important and not very obvious is that it has to be used in the sentence in a way that makes sense / corresponds exactly to what is said in the ST.
