Spanish term

titularidad de la entidad titular

Spanish to English Law/Patents Finance (general) EU funding
... que el carácter comunitario o no de un proyecto depende de la titularidad de la
entidad titular y promotora del programa que lo financia, y no de la financiación del mismo, pues dicho aspecto
resulta de difícil verificación por no ser información siempre accesible a los operadores.

OK, somebody is being deliberately obtuse here because they may or may not have been caught dipping twice into the EU subsidy jar for the same project, but I need to render this in comprehensible English without too much repetition, if possible.

Entidad : always worth a try turning into an institutional adjectival construction to dodge the body vs. entity

Peer comment(s):

disagree philgoddard : "Entidad" doesn't mean institution - are you getting mixed up with "ente"? And "actual" is redundant.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks everybody. This one makes (kind of) sense in the context of the link. Good tip about the institutional adjectival construction, must try to remember that."

ownership of the entity organising

You obviously can't say 'ownership of the entity owning' here, but I assume this is the meaning.

Organise and organize are different spellings of the same word. Organize is the preferred spelling in the U.S. and Canada, and organise is more common outside North America. This extends to all the word's derivatives, including organized/organised, organizing/organising, and organization/organisation.
