That is a good point and I hadn't thought of that, but I was assuming that if they didn't approve they simply wouldn't put anything on it. Maybe that wasn't a safe assumption.

I agree that 'attestation' is the best solution. We don't know for sure what the committee's findings actually were, so it would be a leap to say 'approval'.

Kristina: I think Iit suggests there's no space or time for certification, possibly even without necessity for such.

Out of curiosity, does everyone agree that "falta espacio" is referring to a lack of space available on paper (the study/report)? Or does anyone think it could be referring to a lack of available time during the meeting for the "acción fedatario" (monitoring/witnessing act) to be accomplished? I thought it had to be the first option, but the other possibility just occurred to me. If it's definitely paper I think it might even be better to say "notary seal."

I was wondering about this too. Why do I keep seeing the spelling "federataria"? I have tried looking it up in multiple dictionaries and it seems to not be a word. Maybe it is a circumstance where it is such a common error that it is starting to gain acceptance.

Do you know if the "acción" was a favorable decision? Without further context, and because they've run out of space, I'm wondering if it means something like 'findings'.
