Italian to English Science Medical (general) medical report
Dear colleagues: I would like to verify, does the sentence mean that there are no peripheral pulses either? if not do you have any suggestion that makes sense?

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Rachel Fell

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

mona elshazly (asker) Sep 11, 2022:
To Mr. Joseph, Ms Cristina, Mr Michael Thank you so much for your time and effort to help me throughout the last days and special thanks to Mr. Joseph and Ms. Cristina; I have been struggling in this report for days now.
As for this sentence; I suspected it because of the negations in the previous phrases.
Michael Meskers Sep 11, 2022:
Joseph's explanation is perfect Cristina's answer is accurate.
If there were none, as Cristina notes, the standard phrasing would indeed be polsi periferici assenti.
Not the case in the screen capture you provided of course.
Joseph Tein Sep 11, 2022:
polsi periferici presenti e simmetrici = peripheral pulses ARE present and symmetrical. There isn't a "no" before this phrase, which is separated from the previous phrases by a comma. The previous phrases are negative findings, this phrase says that the pulses are present.

(It would be easier for me if you re-wrote the text in your question, rather than adding a link that I have to open to read the text.)
