grate cooling Explanation: ... at least according to the quoted Schmid Energy references. You might also consider Phil's suggestion entered in the discussion box if you need to make a distinction between "Rostkühlung" and "Rostwangenkühlung". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 22 hrs (2022-10-09 16:38:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I wouldn't be able to decide in favour of one of the more precise options without having seen a detailed picture or drawing of the grate. That said, I'd associate "Rostwange" with a (side) wall(ing) of the grate. On the other hand, https://books.google.de/books?id=OInfet8d0fQC&pg=RA1-PA131&l... has "grate framing". |

Reference: See references Reference information: "Rostwangenkühlung" seems to be a very rare term exclusively used by https://www.schmid-energy.ch/ Compare these two references: https://www.schmid-energy.ch/files/attachments/Broschuere_In... (German) https://www.schmid-energy.ch/files/medienarchiv/Broschuere-I... (English) In the description/details of the UTSR visio system, the company translated both "Rostkühlung" and "Rostwangenkühlung" as "grate cooling", which is perhaps somewhat inaccurate for the term in question. |
