Spanish term
"...pero no es cualquier carácter el que tenemos que desarrollar..."
Lo que la mujer dice es: "Nuestro carácter se ha desarrollado a tal punto que podemos sostenernos en la adversidad. Pero no es cualquier carácter sino el de Cristo, nuestro salvador".
Mi pregunta es si traducirían "carácter", en este caso, como "spirit". En caso que les parezca mejor otra opción, ¿cuál sería?

I don't agree re spirit in the specific context. In an nutshell, the Spirit of Christ would be more likely to be referring to the Holy Spirit https://bit.ly/3E3Hot0 . The Holy Spirit indwells Christians and produces the fruit https://bit.ly/3Im7mdN which makes up/forms Christian character
