Spanish term or phrase: exhiba su contrapropuesta de convenio en términos del articulo 267 del código ci
Taken from a Mexican divorce, target audience is US. The plaintiff (wife) has been ordered to send documents and translations to the defendant, who lives in the US. Full sentence is:

present their settlement counter offer pursuant to Article 267 of the Civil Code
Explanation:
"A divorce settlement is an arrangement, adjustment, or other understanding reached, as in financial or business proceedings, between two adults who have chosen to divorce. It serves as the final legal agreement between these adults for documenting the terms of their divorce."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce_settlement

Btw, Sinead, the "la demandada" is an ellipsis of the "la parte demandada", so no mistake in the source, there at least.

disclose his counter(-)proposal for an agreement, as provided in § / section 267 of the Civil Code

Explanation:
Exhibir is, de novo, to produce, disclose or make discovery of and artículo can be translated as a 'section' of a Code, as opposed to the Franglais of Article of an International Treaty or Convention.

There is an awful lot of queries on this translation...

Otherwise, comments from legally qualified translators and court interpreters are welcome.

Example sentence(s):
  • Section Section 1, 2 in Section 1, 2 in [Part I, Title I, Chapter I,] Section 1
  • Define Counterproposal. shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in ... 6.9(a) “Covered Parent SEC Disclosure” Preamble to Article IV “Debt Commitment
