Care colleghe e colleghi,
ho un dubbio sulla traduzione di “release phase” riguardante il ciclo di funzionamento dei sistemi complessi. Si trova nel brano riportato in basso. In un altro testo ho trovato questa descrizione, in cui si impiega anche il termine "collapse": A collapse or release phase (Ω), in which accumulated resources are catastrophically released. The omega phase is characterized by the rapid release of accumulated resources; examples in ecosystems would be the release of nutrients and biomass when a disturbance event such as fire, drought, insectivory or intense grazing triggers a collapse (Thapa et al., 2016a). This is quickly followed by a period of reorganization, such as when soil processes capture nutrients and pioneer species begin colonization processes.

As a complex system begins a repeating cycle of organization, disorganization, and reorganization, it has a growth phase, in which new assemblies form and give rise to ways these differentiated component parts connect and interact with one another.
