Gracias, Nikki. Me pregunto si no será lo mismo expresado de dos maneras distintas. Los intereses se aplican en el pago mensual y calculan cuál es la tasa anual equivalente o la tasa anual efectiva.

APR = annualized/annual percentage rate. You see it a lot on credit card ads when they make a special offer of X% APR. I suppose they specify APR because in reality the interest is not applied annually but on a monthly or even daily basis.

: Nope. Its Tasa Anual Efectiva which is transated into english as the Anual Percentage Yield. No, se llama la tasa anual efectiva que se traduce al ingles como APY o Anual Percentage Yield. Not to be confused with APR which is the Anual Percentage Rate.

Anual Percentage Yield = Tasa de Rendimiento Anual. I suggest you think again if you are about to use this in a translation. The context here is NOT an investment.
