若等闲?

English to Chinese Marketing Advertising / Public Relations Advertisement
在某家公司简体中文网页上看到这样的广告词语:
走向全球可谓难,XX助你若等闲。
在该公司繁体中文网页上同样广告词语的表达是:
全球有何困难?除非您找的不是XX!
该公司英文网页上同样广告词语的表达是:
Going global is tough. We make it easier.
该公司繁体中文网页上介绍自己的文字:XX,何方神圣?

我的问题是:这样的中文广告词语恰当吗?
敬请各位同人多多参加意见。

I mean, we are not just doing translation - we are doing proper phrasing in Chinese, especially when it comes to advertisements.
Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
To jyuan_us: I don't have problem with the English original. I do have a lot of problems to understand the Chinese "translation." It is not a correct Chinese sentence. If I didn't read the English original, I would get stuck at that f. The reasons have been discussed above. Remember, we are not just doing "translation" - we are doing proper phrasing in Chinese.

Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
Sorry, I mean, the Chinese expression f would arouse some contractions in the potential customers' stomachs.
To Shang: Think of the expression f֮݅ and you see the implication (negative connotation) of . Besides, though we omit subjects in Chinese sentences, there is always a subject in a sentence. أ seems to have two subjects who do not stand on the same ground.

To jyuan_us: Are you sure that f in the Chinese sentence means "making it a piece of cake for you," instead of "making you a piece of cake"?

To Mark: Thank you very much for the poem. In that case, the subject suits the predicate. There isn't any problem of bad taste. The person regards himself as nothing. That is why he can take the horrible death as something common and ordinary. But in the advertisement of the company mentioned, the Chinese expression f would arouse some contractions in the potential customers' stomach, IMO.
Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
Shang's Chinese understanding is 100% correct.
To be exact, my question is: If the advertiser wants to say "we make it a piece of cake for you," why does the Chiense translation sound like "we make you feel kind of a stupid guy" or "we make you feel like a small potatoe"?
I am wondering how the potential Chinese customers would feel themselves like when reading such expressions as أ and أأηʥ
Shang Dec 3, 2004:
f is an archaic word, meaning ordinary/common.
Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
To Shang: It is indeed very awkward! Some one who does ͥŲ doesn't necessarily . I would say, it's not just awkward - it is wrong - becaue has a bad connotation, something like making the customers stupid.
Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
To jyuan_us: Are you sure that is the right expression for "making things easier for you"?
Non-ProZ.com Dec 3, 2004:
To Shang: Thank you for your prompt answer. But my question is something else. I was asking how could this Chinese phrase be proper to meet the ends? I know you are not f֮݅, but do you expect others to help you to become f?

FYI

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.

Jesus Christ!
