Je voudrais du Fred Astaire Revoir un Latecoere

French to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature song lyrics
this is from the song "Le jardin d'hiver" of Henri Salvador
does anybody have an idea how Fred Astaire and Latecoere are related here? would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance

that was a great team work! I wish Icould give kudoz to everybody!!! The idea of being nostalgique for a bygone time,the rhyming, and maybe the image of Fred Aistaire with his flying, gliding feet (like an Latecoere) in his "Singing in the rain"... Thank you very much Sue, Juan, Didier, and Sarah. Sue was the first to reply with her note, and the mentioning of being nostalgic, so Kudoz are for her this time.

For Sue: you should put your answer, it's the right one. The only thing between Astaire and Lot�co�re is the rhyme. (air = �re in French).

a pause, line break whatever. If you write it out in one line as Olga did, it needs a comma :-)

Fred Astaire: I guess everybody knows who he is, in case of any doubt please have a look at the first reference
Latecoere is a manufacturer of airplanes (founded 1917), famous for its "hydravions" (picture in second reference) at the time when Fred Astaire was famous for his successful career and films
