Danish term

magasin

Danish to English Medical Medical (general) patient notes, anastomosis
Not too sure what is meant here, certianly not in medical (instrument?) terms in any case.

Does anyone know what is meant here by 'magasin', please? I've never had to describe part of a procedure in patient notes before.

(A pean is also an arterial clip).

It is also possible that a 'magasin' is a staple. Please see:

"Tyco US Surgical Stapler
A review by the Food and Drug Administration has linked 112 deaths and 2,180 injuries to surgical staplers. In many cases, the staples failed to close around the patient's tissue or the stapler failed to release the staples resulting in leakage. Among the patients who died, the stapled tissue typically had begun leaking fluid or blood, leading to infection."
