Ik denk dat het woord conducive hier verkeerd gebruikt wordt. Wat ik vermoed dat ze bedoelen is: voor condities/omstandigheden waarin ze (the standards) van toepassing zijn. Moeilijk zeker te zeggen zonder meer context.
