Not too sure about the rock (or should it be "roque" to keep in style? :-) but I based my suggestion on the fact that, in English, I've seen the terms daisy and daising (smth or other) in the same technical texts. So I assumed that the French writer may be doing the same here.

There's a lot of guesswork going on, but my guess is that the author is simply mingling the 2 terms. Why on earth a robot would be associatated with a glassy igneous rock I can't imagine, with or without her perfect cleavage...

I'm only guessing here, but... ... isn't it the same difference as between "daisy-chain" machine/robot and "daisy-chaining" of the same?

The first applies to the robot itself (possibly as a name even), the other to the process or act of daisy-chaining it.

At first I thought, its an error but when I checked whole doc, its Margarite robot 4 and Marguerite du robot R4, then Margarite robot 7 and Marguerite du robot R7....and so on..seems different
