The whole sentence is: "L'Artiste est autorisé, dès maintenant, à agir directement à l'encontre des ayants droit du Producteur" and is regarding the fact that the Producer cannot be held responsible if companies who distribute or edit the film do not respect the advertising obligations. I understand the concept and meaning but just can't put this little sentence it into words, perhaps because it's 01.47 in the morning and I'm tired....
