Could you provide the full sentence in an extract of the original? Without context, the word-for-word substitution may lead to an inaccurate rendering.

Could you confirm that this is "assignée" and not a mixture of English ("assignee") and French? Posts sometimes inadvertently include both.

My thought is that MMM (demanderesse en intervention) joined a case involving PPP vs someone else – and PPP must respond.
