respondent (in intervention)
Not knowing what kind of case this is, that's all I would venture.
I might drop "en intervention in my translation since the context might cover that adequately.

Hard to say without further information. ;-)

: "en intervention" suggests that this is a party joined to an action

My thought is that MMM (demanderesse en intervention) joined a case involving PPP vs someone else – and PPP must respond.

Discussion
Thank you for the further information. It is a good idea for each post to be stand-alone, to contain sufficient information and context for useful answers to be made. It is not safe to assume that potential answerers have seen and/or read previous posts which may contain relevant context. Sometimes, this means copying and pasting the same extract!
la societe MMM partie demanderesse en intervention aux termes d'un exploit d'huissier de justice
Contre la societe PPP partie assignee en intervention au fins d'un (autre) exploit d'huissier de justice
Could you provide the full sentence in an extract of the original? Without context, the word-for-word substitution may lead to an inaccurate rendering.
Could you confirm that this is "assignée" and not a mixture of English ("assignee") and French? Posts sometimes inadvertently include both.
