I believe "col" is either "throat" or "neck", however please check for other answers for "rapporté"

Advantageously, the casing body comprises a throat (which is) added on, housing the valve system.
This is how I understand it: the throat is "added on" as opposed to it being "integral with" the casing body (made in one single part).
