Advice to staff on wearing respiratory protective equipment:
Pour bien porter votre équipement de protection respiratoire, il faut:
(1) ajuster le masque, placer le respirateur sur votre bouche et votre nez, puis amener le harnais sur le dessus de votre tête. Finalement, il faut ramener les ***croix inférieures*** derrière votre tête et les attacher ensemble.

Note how the harness has two pairs of straps fitted with snap-on attachments. What is not clear to me is whether the "croix" in quastion are the straps or the attachments.
