polished concrete

This is how we refer to this type of floor in Australia.
The steel trowelled finish is according to my research, the most basic finish, while burnished and honed finishes are of higher quality.

In response to Sven's disagreement with Australian usage.
In the article cited as reference, the following information can be found:
"The concept of a polished finish dates back some 20 to 30 years and was originally used to describe the process whereby a typical grey or coloured concrete floor was coated with a wax product and then highly polished./.../Hence the term ‘polished concrete floors’. While the name remains, polished finishes are now provided by a variety of techniques such as steel trowelling, burnishing or honing the surface of the concrete."
Example sentence:

Polished concrete is a generic term covering a variety of decorative concrete flooring options which leave a concrete surface exposed as the final floor finish.

disagree Sven Petersson : Please see http://www.prokitinternational.se/poleradbetong.htm

I don't see your point... Did you read my reference?
disagree George Hopkins : Stålglättad is not, by any degree of imagination, polished. The question refers to 'stålglätta'. Glätta in other applications can mean 'to polish'.

Then tell me, please, how you would translate "glätta"?
