Swedish term

åtgärda

Swedish to English Marketing Electronics / Elect Eng
Hello

This looked easy but I've come unstuck

Tydliga larm som är enkla att känna igen, tyda, och ***åtgärda***

I can't work out if it is 'set', 'reset' or even 'react to'

The context is of no help as it is just a list of unrelated selling points but it's for a medical device in a hospital.

Perhaps the Swedish word does not have an exact equivalent in English and can mean multiple things?

Thanks

Peer comment(s):

agree Michael Ellis : As this is a list of selling points, I think 'act on' is best. It is ambiguous enough cover 'reset', 'correct', etc if one of these is intended.
