Swedish term

akviferlager

Swedish to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
I know "Akviferlager" as being "Geothermal Energy" *-- but I am not certain that it isn't more specific than that.

So I was wondering if anyone expert in the field of alternative energy could comment.

(* As in "the production of heating from Geothermal Energy sources")

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): Sven Petersson, Michele Fauble, Leif Henriksen

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Charlesp (asker) Nov 18, 2013:
corrected to Swedish to English I don't know why anyone would so misunderstand (and meddle) to change it incorectly from how it was, "Swedish to English," to make it backwards in an 'attempt to be helpful' -- but in any case, I've corrected it and put it back to Swedish to English.
Leif Henriksen Nov 11, 2013:
Indeed, Charles. So I joined Michele and Sven to change it.
Charlesp (asker) Nov 11, 2013:
-- should be changed to "Pro" Don't know how this got marked "easy" -- should be changed to "Pro"

aquifer thermal energy storage

I'll change to this one, but are you working on a larger facility or for single home?

Some interesting reading and terms that might help otherwise.

Thank you, Anna!
disagree Mats Wiman : IMHO handlar det inte om 'lagring'

This does involve a question of context -- which we don't really have.
