Swedish term

At:

Swedish to English Medical Medical (general)
I'm translating some insurance papers. Mostly very general, but also including a doctor's report. "At:" is a heading and so is Thorax:, Pulm:. Axlar: etc.

Beside "At:" it says, "opåverkad, rör sig obehindrat"

General condition

My guess is that this is short for Allmäntillstånd. But I'm not familiar with how this is expressed or abbreviated in English. Hope that this can be of some help, though!

disagree Andy Bell : This would not be a normal interpretation Annette - in my opinion, if one insists on using "General" then "General condition" is preferable

Cressy gives both, and yes general condition seems more commonly used, probably because it is shorter, both will explain what AT is an abbreviation for which the question was about. I prefer gsoh as that explains exactly what it is.

Allmäntilstånd

an abbreviation,
in addition it states that the condition is unchanged, and that movement is not restricted

Systems review

I've encountered this many times in medical translation. I've often used "General condition:" as a header for system-by-system listing, but, having discussed this with my wife who is a doctor, the accepted medical heading is "Systems review/Review by systems:" followed by the various systems. HTH

PS. That should read \"review of systems\" not \"by\". For information only.

A final note, my wife has just advised me that \"It\'s just \"SR\" (systems review) - noone would write review of systems! So there you go!
