In this context, you could use "hangs beautifully". I agree that it sounds rather literal, but try googling 'dress + hangs beautifully' - it does seem to be the standard expression.

an alternative verb is drapes (however in the US this is a noun for curtains)

Discussion
I notice that Norstedts engelska ordbok proposes the translation "graceful hang (fall)" for "vackert fall" and they offer the example sentence "Kjolen har ett vackert fall." But perhaps this is just a too literal translation.
