I was born in England but from the age of 12 grew up in Spain. As the Spanish language and culture were such a big part of my life it was only natural to go on to study it more with the aim of making a career of this passion. I studied translation and interpreting at the University of Salford and then gained a masters in Interpreting at the University of Surrey. After graduating, I returned to Spain where I have lived and worked since.
I have a broad range of professional experience in subject matters that include health care, government administration documents, arts, IT, engineering, and education.
One of my strengths is taking advantage of the knowledge I have of my native language and also of the language that has been part of my life for over 15 years. In addition, the experience, passion, and understanding I have of Spanish culture enables me to deliver the best possible translation.
