I am also the former owner of a small Mexican restaurant and have actively participated in the development of several others. As such I have experience with menu development, preparation, and translation.
I am a graduate (B.A. Honours) of McGill University with a joint degree in German and East Asian Studies. I have also earned a graduate diploma in Journalism from Concordia University.
I have worked as a freelance translator for 15 years. During that time I have also spent five years as a technical writer in the software industry, producing and localizing user documentation, online help systems, web sites, and marketing materials.
I have worked exclusively as an independent freelance translator and writer since 2000 in a number of fields, including engineering and pulp and paper, software documentation, procedureal manuals, academic materials, and general topics.
