Increase substantially for new clients and stay the same for existing clients Jul 20, 2010

I have a steady trickle of new clients at a rate 20 % higher than my rate for existing clients. I'm happy to retain the lower rate with these existing clients for now, in part due to the recession and in part because of other redeeming factors: interesting work, volume of work, friendliness, professionalism, mutual trust etc. I will probably try to bring them in line with my newer clients when the economic situation improves in my SL country.
