In fact, I don't even know of any and would be interested in seeing a list or description of some, particularly if they are open access and don't require a subscription.
I don't think I've ever set eyes on a translation journal. Can anyone suggest one to look at online?

Not individually but as member of a working group aimed at translating regional terminology into European Portuguese.

Very interesting! | Oct 13, 2012 |
Ok, I've already had a look at the site from José's link. Excellent and plentiful reading material!!!! I like the 'how not to be a translator' article, and will read others later. Muriel - I couldn't get your link to work!! Teresa - tons of stuff! This is fab!!! Better save the links before the poll disappears into the ether......

Filipa Plant dos Santos wrote: Muriel - I couldn't get your link to work!! Just remove the full stop at the end of the link. It's well worth reading - Muriel was investigating MT before many of us had invested in our first computers (well, almost!). Some of her papers provide a fascinating insight into what was to come...

As an avid reader of translation-related articles and features, I clicked on the link, but it showed a 404 Page not found page. Can you check, Muriel? Thanks! When you have it, please drop me an email so that I can take a look at the articles. Thank you. UPDATE: After removing the period at the end (never include a period at the end of an URL link, by the way), I was able to access the page. Thanks.

An article about transcreation, to be specific. It was published in MediaInc., a US news magazine about advertising, media, creative services, film & video, audio, broadcast, publishing, printing, etc. The article got me a very nice direct client, and some advertising association invited me to speak during a congress in NYC (no way, I declined... I rather write...).

It was interesting to see the type of thing published on the site, especially since you can access the published works without even having to register, provide an email address or fill in any time-consuming forms.
