First: You will have to merge the Office documents to one merged document "Master.docx" or "Master.odt". For Ms Word there is a good macro available, that I have posted here.

Make sure that you add leading numbers to the subdocuments to maintain the correct order of the subdocuments.

Make sure that you add leading numbers to the subdocuments to maintain the correct order of the subdocuments.

In CafeTran Espresso you create a project with multiple documents, as usual.

In the Resources menu you choose Open LibreOffice for preview. Then open the merged master document. You will get a synchronized preview of all subdocuments:
