日本語の住所表記について

「都道府県」や「市区町村」等の日本語の住所表記の分け方について質問があります。
外国語から日本語にこのような言葉を翻訳するとき、皆さんはどのようにしていますか。
まず順番から頭を悩ませるのですが、番地や通り名等から始まる外国語の住所表記をそのまま日本語に適用するわけにはいきませんから、例えば英語で「通り名」の部分に日本語の「郵便番号」が来たりするわけです。
以前翻訳した際、原語の意味を無視し、住所の書き順を考慮して「郵便番号」「都道府県」「郡市」「区町村」「番地」に分けたのですが(この時点で翻訳会社には住所記入欄は原語の表記通りに翻訳できないため、新たに住所記入用のフォームを作成する旨を伝えたので、ある程度自由に項目数を設定することができました)、校正後は「郵便番号」「都道府県」「市、区」「町名、番地」と訂正されていました。
私の個人的な感情ではありますが、私は○○県xx郡△△町の出身で、校正後の分け方に「郡」「町村」が含まれていないことに非常に違和感を感じます。今後の参考のためにも、住所表記についてのみなさんの意見をお聞かせください。
