Hi Everyone,
In this forum I've reported the slow and buggy terminology recognition in Transit NXT SP4 when using large SQL dictionaries (dictionaries stored in a SQL database, i.e. Microsoft SQL Express 2005 that is available on the Transit NXT Set-up CD).
After running some tests I've found that the error messages and slow response are caused by the function Terminology search | Morphology-based. If you deactivate this option, SQL term recognition works very fast. Rapid Entry is also very speedy.
BTW: Even if you deactivate the option Morphology-based, term recognition is still ... morphology-based.
I've reported my findings to STAR support and asked them for a quick fix.
