Not so long ago, a Roman called Probus had similar complaints about the Latin that was spoken during his time and he wrote a list of corrections. Here's an example:

musivum non mus[e]um
auctoritas non autoritas

I wonder what he would say about the Latin language as spoken now in Spain (a horrible mixture of Latin, Arabic, Germanic and other languages)
