22.1 There are two general types of hose clamps: **Worm-Drive band type clamps** in Paragraph 22.2 require a torque level to be achieved. Constant Tension type band clamps in Paragraph 22.3 use springs to maintain load and require assembly to a compressed state of a spring device without exceeding the tension (torque) that would damage the clamp.
