Une suggestion.
J'ai l'impression que le "channel system" est synonyme d' "information system" dans votre contexte, à différencier des systèmes de communication, tels que les réseaux sociaux, les forums, etc.

: in the good direction, but not precise enough - a help desk is only very broadly a "système d'information"

=
“channel systems” that are in the legal ownership of whoever is doing the data mining.
This is about "data mining", collecting as much information as possible is one place in order to get a hopefully useful "global view" of some activity.
The category named "owned channel systems" includes all sources of data that are fully owned by the company, or whoever is doing the data mining. The company owns its own website, its own helpdesk, its own contact centre etc.
From how it's used "channel" means here a "conduit for a flow of information", i.e. a website would generate info about visitors, a help desk about interests/problems from product users etc...
It's difficult to find a collective name for a website (on the Web), a contact centre (walk-in callers) and a help-line (telephone); the only common element is that these are all sources of data.
