I just wanted to clarify on the terminology.
A lesion is something that you can see and touch (potentially). Obviously, if it's inside the body, you cannot touch it. For example, when a kid falls on an asphalt and scrapes his knee, you can see an abrasion. It's a lesion. When a person has physical focal changes that can be seen on a CT, MRI, ultrasound or with a naked eye, that's a lesion.

However, we operate with the limited context in the question. You have the entire document.
Again, lesions are not necessarily disorders.
The question you posted is one of the challenges of medical translation because the Russian conventions differ from the medical conventions of the English-speaking counties.
