Hi all, I'm trying to proofread Transit NXT files in Transit XV. Actually, I already received a TPF file, but I couldn't receive it in Transit XV. Then the translator sent me a PXF, created in NXT, and it went all well. But now the customer is asking me for a TPF file and in Transit XV I can only send TXF files. Am I missing something? I already have the Transit NXT compatibility pack and SP 26. So, is it possible to send TPF files from Transit XV? Thank you... See more

What about if you forward the file instead of packing it?

I found it!

OK, I found the solution.
This is how it's done if you are a team of a translator and a proofreader, both working with Transit XV and the customer working with Transit NXT. - Proofreader: Receive untranslated PPF file. Do nothing - Translator: Receive untranslated PPF file. Start translation. - Translator: Send TXF file to proofreader. - Proofreader: Receive TXF file. Start proofreading. - Proofreader: Send TPF file.

The trick for the proofreader is to import the original PPF file, even though I'm not going to do the translation.
I hope it is clear and maybe it will be useful for someone else.
