He's going to go for a three-point =المقصود بها تسديد رمية واحدة فقط من وراء خط الثلاث نقاط وليس تسديد ثلاثية متتالية أو ثلاث رميات كما فسرها البعض
هذا يتضح تماماً من مشاهدة المباراة من خلال الرابط على قناة اليوتيوب

He's going to go for a three-point =المقصود بها تسديد رمية واحدة فقط من وراء خط الثلاث نقاط وليس تسديد ثلاثية متتالية أو ثلاث رميات كما فسرها البعض
هذا يتضح تماماً من مشاهدة المباراة من خلال الرابط على قناة اليوتيوب

أسماء الأشخاص لا تترجم في اللغة العربية وأنما يتم كتابتها كما هى كما هو واضح في المثال أعلاه ، والذي ترجمه بعض المترجمين إلى توم إسحاق!

في كرة السلة يقال على تلك الرمية تصويبة ثلاثية وتعني رمية واحدة تمنح الفريق 3 نقاط دفعة واحدة

بالفعل يا أستاذ محمد، يقال "تصويبة ثلاثية النقاط" في حالة قيام اللاعب بتسديد رمية واحدة وفي حالة التصويب الصحيح يُمنح الفريق 3 نقاط دفعة واحدة
لكن
a three-point look = تشير تحديداً إلى منطقة الثلاث نقاط، أي أن اللاعب يقف وراء خط الثلاث نقاط ويقوم بتسديد رمية واحد

لذلك، فإن التفسير الدقيق في رأيي هو ترجمتها إلى " رمية من وراء/خلف خط الثلاث نقاط

إذا شاهدت الفيديو، ستجد أن اللاعب لم ينجح في إحراز "رمية/تصويبة ثلاثية النقاط" وإن ما قام به هو محاولة لتسديد رمية من وراء خط الثلاث نقاط
